I’m always honored and excited when I’m asked to preserve flowers that have been part of celebrating love, life, and unforgettable memories. Pressing and framing wedding bouquets is a meaningful way to preserve those moments, transforming your flowers into artwork that can be treasured for years to come. Each piece becomes a gentle reminder of your wedding day, something you can return to again and again. Every commission is created slowly and intentionally in my Gulf Coast studio using natural methods and traditional pressing techniques, allowing your flowers to tell their story in a new way.
Booking Your Date
I only accept a limited number of wedding flower commissions each year so that every bouquet receives the time, care, and attention it deserves. Because availability is limited and often fills well in advance, I encourage you to reach out as early as possible to reserve your date and ensure space is available in the studio for your flowers.
Bouquet Delivery
Because flower pressing works best with the freshest blooms, I currently serve couples getting married throughout South Mississippi and the Gulf Coast region, as well as those who are happy to travel from farther away. For the best preservation results, bouquets should be delivered within 1-3 days of the wedding and kept in water until drop-off whenever possible. Keeping your bouquet in water immediately after the celebration helps preserve its color and shape before delivery.
Most brides designate a family member or a member of the wedding party to handle delivery the day after the celebration. I am primarily located in Hurley, MS and I travel to Mobile, AL throughout the week. Flowers can be brought directly to my studio or to a mutually agreed-upon meeting location so I can begin the pressing process as quickly as possible and preserve their color, shape, and beauty at their very best.
Working With Your Flowers
Some flowers press beautifully, while others require a more creative approach. Carnations, mums, daisies, sunflowers, and many varieties of greenery tend to press especially well. Roses, calla lilies, and other layered blooms that hold more water may be pressed as individual petals or incorporated into more interpretive compositions. If you’re open to artistic interpretation, there are always meaningful options we can explore together to best preserve your bouquet.
Design & Style
I offer several pressed-flower styles for wedding commissions, each created by hand with a focus on natural form, warm tones, and heirloom quality. These include full collage compositions, wild bouquet layouts, minimal botanical studies, petal-forward designs, structured botanical grids, and feature pieces that highlight a single meaningful bloom.
Every design is slow-pressed and thoughtfully composed, allowing your flowers to become a one-of-a-kind piece of art that reflects both your bouquet and your story.
Timeline & Framing
Wedding commissions typically take 6-10 weeks from bouquet drop-off to completion. This allows time for slow pressing, composition, framing, and finishing.
Pricing varies depending on the size of the piece, frame style, and the number of artworks you’d like created. I offer a selection of frame styles, though you are also welcome to provide your own frame if you have something special in mind.
Investment
Wedding flower preservation commissions begin at $300, with final pricing determined by frame size, composition style, and any additional services requested. Following your inquiry, I’ll provide a personalized quote based on your bouquet and vision.
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date and secure your commission, with the remaining balance due upon completion and prior to pickup or shipment.
Preservation Method
All flowers are traditionally slow-pressed using natural methods. Sustainability is at the heart of my work, which is why I never use preservatives, resin, or chemical sealants. As natural materials, pressed flowers will gently fade and evolve in color over time while retaining their beautiful organic forms.
To help preserve your artwork for years to come, I recommend displaying it away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity whenever possible.
Additional Services
As an optional addition to your pressed flower artwork, I also offer a flower drying service. Any blooms not selected for pressing can be naturally air-dried and transformed into a dried bouquet or arrangement. This is especially popular for roses, which dry beautifully and can complement your pressed pieces wonderfully.
Flower drying services begin at $100.
